Built on Tradition
Our Founder's Story
Sixty years ago, Stewart Simonson gave his wife, Mary Jane, a gold bangle to celebrate their wedding anniversary. While living in Puerto Rico, they learned of a Cuban tradition of gifting gold bangles to mark life’s special milestones. Stewart presented Mary Jane with a gold bangle every year to commemorate their marriage.
After Mary Jane’s passing, Stewart passed her bangles on to their five children. This meaningful gesture became the foundation of the Simonson family anniversary bangle tradition.
In 2016, Stewart and Mary Jane’s granddaughter, Ann Williams, began hand making these bangles to continue the tradition for family and friends.
She enrolled in a Vanderbilt University metalworking class and converted her small garage into a jewelry studio. What began as a hobby making 14k gold bangles for her family quickly grew into Yearly Co., a thriving business with 20+ employees and thousands of customers around the world.

The Original Bangle is still the basis of the collection which has grown to include a range of 14k gold styles that are customizable and unique, so that women can tell their stories.
What started as a simple anniversary gift has grown into a way for women everywhere to celebrate milestones with meaningful jewelry—year after year.
The perfect gift, year after year.
Our pieces were inspired by a family tradition to mark milestone anniversaries, year after year.
