FAQs

How do I determine my bangle size?

The easiest way to find your bangle size is by ordering the Yearly Co. sizing kit. Your sizing kit will arrive within one week with a full range of brass bangles to try on. You’ll be able to “try before you buy” and experience the lightness and size of a Yearly Co. bangle before investing in your final item or collection.

A standard sizing kit includes bangles that come in increments of 1/4″ from 7″ – 8.25″

Custom sizing below 7″ and above 8.25″ are available. Please email hello@yearlyco.com after placing your order for custom sizes outside of the listed range.

How should my bangle fit?

Each Yearly Co. bangle is made of solid 14k gold and can be worn 24/7 in all activities and environments (including sleeping, swimming, and exercising).

However, we understand that some people like to remove jewelry or wear it only on occasion. Because of this, we encourage clients to consider how frequently they will be wearing their pieces when determining their size. If your bangles will be worn all day every day, we recommend a fit that requires some force to get over the knuckles and sits comfortably on the wrist without the risk of sliding off. If you’ll be removing your bangles daily, we suggest a fit that is a bit looser over the knuckles allowing for an easier removal process.

There is no need to size up or down based on what bangle style you purchase. Thicker bangles may require a bit more work to push up and over the knuckles but they will all fit the same once on your wrist.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Shipping times are dependent on the piece(s) you order. Review our production and shipping timelines by item HERE. If you order multiple items they will ship together in accordance with the longest production time.

We provide secure shipping on all merchandise inside the United States via UPS. You will receive a tracking number by email when your order ships and it will arrive within 1-4 business days of shipment.

What is the return policy?

We offer free returns or exchanges within 30 days of receiving your non-customized jewelry.

Customized bangles (diamonds, engravings, and stampings) are non-returnable but can be altered for a fee equal to 20% of the retail price or 80% refunded in the form of store credit.

If your item is returnable, please email us at to receive a refund to the original payment method.

Please note we will not accept returns, resizes, or exchanges that have been bought from a third-party vendor.

What if I need to resize my bangle?

We strongly recommend ordering our sizing kit first and testing our brass sizers to determine your perfect fit.

If you did not use our kit and decide that your bangles are too large or small, contact us for a return label so we can begin the resize or exchange process.

Your first order can be resized for free (up to 3 bangles) if they are non-custom pieces.

Custom bangles will incur a 20% resizing fee.

What happens if my Yearly Co. piece breaks or is damaged?

We stand behind our products and want you to be able to wear your pieces with confidence day after day. If an item should break, please contact us at hello@yearlyco.com for a return label so we can repair your piece free of charge.

How do I care for my jewelry?

All of our jewelry is made of solid 14k gold. Because of this, every piece can be worn 24/7 including in the shower, pool, ocean, gym, and while sleeping.

Each item is made to order, by hand, and slight variations and imperfections are normal.

If your bangles or other Yearly Co. pieces become dirty or cloudy, just wipe them clean with the included polishing cloth. Or use mild dish soap and a rag or soft brush to scrub clean.

Should a bangle break, please contact hello@yearlyco.com for information about repairs.

Do Yearly Co. bangles bend with wear?

The Original Bangle can develop some natural bends and curves. However, as you go up in thickness in our bangle styles, they become more rigid and will not bend at all. Please refer to our “Bangle Style & Durability” chart for more details on each piece.

What is the difference between the original, the heavy weight, the double weight, and the triple weight bangles?

The Original Bangle is made of a 16 gauge wire. It is 1.3 mm thick and weighs about 3.4 grams.

The Heavy Weight is made of a 14 gauge wire. It is 1.6 mm thick and weighs about 5.2 grams.

The Double Weight is made of a 12 gauge wire. It is 2 mm thick and weighs about 8.5 grams.

The Triple Weight is made of a 9 gauge wire. It is 3 mm thick and weighs about 16.5 grams.

Does 14k gold contain nickel?

14k gold is alloyed with a small percentage of nickel. White gold has a higher percentage of nickel than rose and yellow gold. If you have a nickel allergy, you may have some sensitivities to white gold.

What stones do you use?

Our stones are ethically sourced and chosen to stand up to everyday wear.

We do not use stones like opal and pearls because of their delicate nature.

We use SI1 - SI2 diamonds that are GHI+ in color.

Our gemstones and diamonds are genuine earth-mined stones. The only lab-grown stone we use is the marquise shaped alexandrite for consistency and cost.

What if I want to gift a bangle as a surprise?

If you don’t know the recipient’s size but they have purchased from us before, you can email us at hello@yearlyco.com or text our customer service line at 615-651-0971 during business hours with questions.

We do not recommend guessing bangle size as it is a very specific fit for each person.

Our gifting box is a great way to give the gift of a Yearly Co. piece without knowing a size.

How do Yearly Co. bangles work with TSA?

14k gold is made up of 14/24 parts pure gold and 10/24 parts other metals, which can set off the metal detectors.

A stack of 4-5 bangles or more may set off the older TSA machines, but the newer airport scanners do not require taking off your bangles. We recommend taking off a couple of bangles and securely zipping them into a purse or carry-on or requesting to go through the newer security machines.
