Stack Story: In the garden with Katie Jacobs

When stylist and author, Katie Jacobs, first discovered Yearly Co., she knew she needed to start her stack immediately. Not only was she enamored with the beautiful jewelry, but the fifth-generation Nashvillian also has a heart for supporting local businesses and fellow female entrepreneurs. Katie wasted no time in making her first Yearly purchase: three Original bangles.

“I chose three of the Original bangles to represent my three children,” Katie says. “I absolutely love that I get to wear fine jewelry no matter where I am or what I’m doing: from swimming at the beach to cooking in my kitchen to digging in the dirt in my garden— my jewelry goes with me everywhere.”

After seeing the bangles on her wrist (and quickly becoming accustomed to that now-familiar “jingle”), Katie fell in love with Yearly Co.’s line and was inspired to continue adding to her stack. Another favorite Yearly Co. piece came as a gift from her husband when he purchased the North Star bangle to signify their strong base and being each other’s rock.

Katie also wears the Thick Etoile, which she chose in honor of their 10-year wedding anniversary and still describes as “stunning” every time she
looks down at it.

Her most meaningful piece is a custom bangle Yearly Co. created just for her.
“We took the delicate diamonds from my grandmother’s wedding band and put them on a bangle,” Katie explains. “It means so much to me to get to wear this every day. My grandmother was a gardener, too, and I know she would love that I have her diamonds on in the garden with me daily.”
