2018 Year(ly) in Review

2018 was an exciting year for Yearly Company!

We could not have done it without the love and support of each one of our clients. Thank you so much for making our favorite moments from this year possible, and for being a part of this incredible journey.

January: We ended 2017 with a name change and kicked off 2018 with beautiful new branding by Honor Creative.

February: I dropped off our first wholesale order at one of our favorite Nashville jewelry shops: Consider the Wildflowers. They are the first shop to carry a selection of our bangles locally.

March: We expanded our product offerings, adding some seasonal earrings, necklaces and engraved rings.

April: I went to Hawaii with my family to celebrate my Dad’s 70th birthday! And of course, we took a bangle pic to showcase the tradition within my family.

May: My mom and I took a trip to NYC for the Jewelry Independent Summit. I learned about the changing world of jewelry retail and was able to form relationships with other inspiring female entrepreneurs.

June: I hired my first full time employee, McKayla! McKayla finished up her masters at Vanderbilt University and joined the Yearly Co. team as the Director of Marketing.

July: We loved seeing beautiful Summer brides celebrating their special day with their first Yearly Co. bangle.

August: We launched the Yearly Co. subscription service, allowing our clients to build their dream collection without breaking the bank or forgetting to order in time for their anniversaries.

September: Located in the heart of Nashville, we moved into our quaint loft space above Habit Boutique. We have been able to personally size and meet so many of our beautiful clients!

October: I went to The New Approach School for Bench Jewelers to refresh my skills and perfect my craft. Bonus: I met a lot of cool jewelers from all over the country!

November: GARDEN & GUN. Yearly Co. was a runner up in the Style category of the Garden and Gun Made in the South Awards. This was a huge honor to be recognized and the weekend in Charleston at the G&G Headquarters was a dream come true.

December: We put together a team of amazing help and created and shipped over 600 orders for the holiday season. We ended the year far exceeding my hopes and dreams for Yearly Co.

We are so grateful for an incredible year in 2018 and cannot wait to continue to create beautiful, meaningful and simple jewelry to be worn everyday, year after year.
